Jack Bernstein is a market guru.
He has authored many books on making the commodity market a little risk-free
for investors. However, in reality, it is the most risky market and you must
always be willing to loose a part of your investment. A few books written down
by him are The Trader's Bible and the Best of Bernstein: A Treasure Chest of
Jake Bernstein's Market Wisdom. .
Jack Bernstein has also
released newsletters, video courses and a CD-ROM. The annual subscription of a
newsletter comes for $400 and the weekly subscription for $895 a year. For his
two-day seminar, he offers telephone lines too and charges the amount $2500 for
each individual. However according to the Commodity Traders Consumer Report,
people who had worked in accordance with Jack Bernstein newsletter worth
$895 had made losses for the period of five consecutive years from 1988 to
1992.
There is another side
about his education too. Jack Bernstein says that he has a Master's
degree in psychology from Chicago's Roosevelt University while registering with
the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. However, in reality he has never earned
a Master’s degree. During 1996, he worked in an infomercial and hyped his video
course ‘Trade Your Way to Riches’ for $180. A few claimed to make money
from it but many have complaint of losing big amounts while using his products
during 1996 and 1997. Jack Bernstein was also fined for $200,000. The
hearing panel of NFA has expelled him and his company MBH for making tall
profit claims, using false promotional material.
Jack Bernstein has different
areas of interest like trader and investor psychology, cyclical economic
analysis, computerized stock and futures trading, short-term and day-trading,
historical price pattern analysis, economic forecasting, seasonal price
patterns, stock and commodity trend analysis, long-term trend and price
forecasting. The recent book authored by him is How to Profit from the
Coming Financial Crisis. Apart from this he has a long queue of books that
are read internationally like The Letter of Long Term Trends, AIBH Weekly
Commodity Trading Letter, Short Term T-Bond Hotline Bernstein on Stocks,
Monthly Key Date Trader.
